Really, Michael Kors?

Really, Michael Kors?

Yeah, Michael frickn Kors. Not too shabby for a fashion watch.

Officially named the MK Jetmaster. 45mm wide and 13.5mm thick, but wears really well. It looks like a chronograph but the buttons change the month, day and date. I first read about this in AblogtoWatch 2 years ago and surprisingly they didn't hate it. Originally retailed for $500 but I found this in Ross at midnight this morning for a bit over $100. I thought I was going to have buyers remorse when I woke up, but I like it. Anyway thanks for watching!

Tell you what, art - I see some MK men's watches in our local Macy's and I'm always kind of shocked; not all of them are those gold-colored "MK" logo watches. Yours is an auto, too. First I've seen one. Plus, they fix or replace whatever they sell with speed and actual concern for their customers. Other brands like that are Kenneth Cole and Skagen.

Not all inexpensive watches are bad. Anybody hassles you over owning an MK, I've got your back.

Not bad at all, especially for $100. I would take MK over the likes of Inshita, Android or Emporio Armani (which is utter shite) any day of the week.

Forgot to mention this thing hacks, winds and has 40 hours reserve. It's an unnamed Chinese movement, but since it's made by Fossil I have no worries.

From what I was reading, at least on Amazon, those are noted to have a Japanese auto movement?

Probably not. I've seen this movement before, and it's certainly not Japanese. Many of these Chinese multifuction movements have been used by some questionable companies, particularly the John House mushroom brands as well as a company that starts with a ST and ends with an ER and is owned by a big fat guy who twitches a lot. No doubt somebody a lot smarter than me on WUS could identify it.

However, this is not taking away anything from Artie's watch; like T says above, MK stands behind their products, and at a hundred bucks, you can't go wrong. An honest watch, a real looker, to be sure.
