First purchase from JOMASHOP

Postby Datsun240Z71 » December 13th 2016, 5:40am

Our daughter is getting her law degree in May from American University's George Washington College of Law in Washington DC, and will be relocating to Atlanta afterwards to join a law firm she interned with this past summer that is opening a satellite office there. She'll be doing immigration law work (should be busy!) and has been doing work through the school at several detention centers and immigration courts already.

We wanted to get her a special gift for graduation, and decided on this Omega:

Had seen it at the local OMEGA store at full boat retail, but saving about $1400 was a big factor in pulling the trigger at JOMASHOP. Their holiday pricing plus another $50 off made for a great deal, plus not paying Tennessee's 9.25% sales tax.

Great choice for another 'lady lawyer'...you to have to be very proud of her!!...

Nice choice. Your daughter is going to be very busy, Datsun.

A wonderful gift for such a moment in time. One that I am sure she will treasure and pass onto her child.

Have been pleased with Jomashop. Is where I bought my wife's TAG Aquaracer at half MSRP.

Perfect watch choice, Dad, and congratulations on your young lady's achievement. A good deal all around. (I bet she misses DC, though; I sure did, and I almost died there...) 8-)

Thanks everyone!

I'll miss her being in DC. Love going there. Just a great place to visit. Every American should. Makes you feel better about April 15 if nothing else!

We've seen pretty much all of the DC sites. Highlights for me were Smithsonian Air and Space at Dulles, The Capital (she was interning with our Senator Lamar Alexander at the time) and White House tours, Arlington Cemetery (changing of the guard), and the Mall. We still want to go to Baltimore to the Naval Academy and a few sites there.

Watch shipped. In transit. So far, so good.

Gorgeous watch 240! Lots of "higher end" watches being picked up this holiday season.

Hope your experience w/ Joma goes as smoothly as my very recent purchase did from Ashford.

I have purchased a few watches from them, one serviced under their gray market warranty...never an issue, recommended!

Watch arrived yesterday in pristine condition. Well packaged for shipping and inside was the very nice OMEGA presentation box.

Curious that no signature was required at delivery.

Very pleased with the entire JOMASHOP transaction!

Beautiful watch, congrats on your daughters accomplishment and the future tuition savings coming your way. May be a good time to pick out a watch for yourself. Jomashop is okay in my book as well. Have bought from them several times and also had a return with them-nothing wrong with the watch, the online description was not accurate. Full refund given.

I'm a step ahead. Got the TT blue dialed ceramic bezel Submariner about 6 weeks ago. I'm done... until next time?
