That's fantastic. I wish I had that kind of skill with my DSLR.

I possess the equipment and a basic level of knowledge to create good photo work. My issue is lack of desire and motivation.

IPhone cameras have made me lazy with photography.

Exactly my issue. All that work produces a marginally better photo than what my iPhone could take. I would have to sufficiently advance my skill level to take photos that are truly better than what I can achieve in a split second with my phone. Is it worth it? Eh.

I got old school Olympus and Nikon film SLR's gathering dust, along with all the kit.
Same as you, I am now too lazy to set up to do what can be done with ease with a phone.

Progress, as with watches.
