A bloke I know from Singapore (he's Chinese/Singaporean and i bet his house is clean enough to eat off the floor) has an amazing photo blog site. He has been pressed into duty to take official shots for some of the Swiss hoity toits. I would post an example picture but he's an intellectual property attorney and I don't know what my rights are in posting his photos, so here's the link:

I have no ability, what so ever, to take creative photo's. I appreciate them when I see them, but I am so far away from being able to shoot them.

Nor have I. I used veggies once, but never again. Once, in my cups, I photographed one of my Orient OS300's with a Pringle's can filled with fibreglas, as I'm too cheap to buy a Fleshlight, but luckily I was too jaked to hit the "Submit" button, and deleted the unsent post the next day.

Actually, it's probably best if all of you pretend you never saw this post. Carry on!

A couple guys over at DWC are really good at it, pacifichrono (formerly of XMT) and Heuerville. We also had a new guy here a few months back with some skills - but we may have run him off.

In all honesty, and seriousness, pacifichrono (who used to be very active at BDWF) is a fucking Viking when it comes to vintage watches. He was the guy I reached out to about servicing my wife's granddad's Lord Elgin, and his advice was first rate.

I really think he was only here to ask about my Pleamar.
Just 3 posts and a couple PMs to me (don't know about anyone else).
Then poof.

Come to think of it, that's exactly what I did on a Spanish forum to get the Pleamar.
