Nice movement but the thought of spending $1K on a watch and settling for tritnite and flame fusion is not in my books.

You talked to DD people recently about their association with Invicta, is that correct?

Just FYI: Not to my knowledge. I have quoted movements, but there has been no response--and I would certainly know.

Merry and Happy!

Alain,

Did you honestly think this would be true? I am am actually at DD right now (spending Christmas with the family) and we are having a good laugh about this. It is really all one can say--that it and he are laughable.

Very interesting news from him posted today at his forum. Direct from DD and not from the American Distributers. Not the way I do business and I know my distributers would be pissed if we ever by-passed them even if they were paid. All I can say is if true, it is going to hurt Dubois credibility wise.

Wow, so MD and Lalo have the nutz to once again lie about "partnering" with DD? These douchebags will stop at nothing. Where are they getting their Gray market modules at?

It's not a bad looking watch. It's not a good looking watch either, but alas, mediocre super sized Rolex clones with dubious lineage established by the last run, created by a brand that is crooked and underhanded to it's core do not interest me.

I saw that, it's a Geek feeding frenzy, lol.

Is it just me, or could you put the most expensive movement ever produced into an Invicta, and I still wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft. pole?

I'm surprised Invicta went with that Movement again here's why.

1) The first time they used the DD it didn't go well

2) I believe DD had no idea Invicta was using DD movements in the Speedway

and

3)It's almost the 1 yr anniversary since the first go around went bad.

It Is Time For Invicta To Make A Tourbillon!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Fellow Geeks,

I was just looking at the Android Sneek Peeks and realized how beautiful the new Tourbillon looks. I said to myself, now Stuhrling has a Tourbillon, and Android will be coming out with theirs this winter ......

SO WOULDN'T IT GREAT FOR INVICTA TO COME OUT WITH THE ULTIMATE INVICTA?

"THE INVICTA TOURBILLON"

With all the magnificent Reserve collection watches available from Invicta, a Tourbillon would absolutely tear the roof off the Forum! There would be mass bedlem in the Forum trying to get one!

Let's all discuss the possibilities, and give our opinions on this subject.

THE FLOOR IS OPEN!!

Thanks to all.

Rich

I would humbly suggest making a quartz that works before trying a Tourbillion.Still waitng for my Ocean Quest kit from March to be returned from Invicta service.

Invicta can't get Swiss movements right and they are really going to fuck with a Chinese tourbillon?

Like robert516 said

So when does the $1200 Shop version of the $699 DoD Speedway air? There's a few Geeks who bought at the $1200 mark, but many are saying after seeing it for $699 they won't touch it until it's around $700.

koi,

Perhaps a NEW email to Mr. Becker is in order....?

The plot thickens, but that's typical Invicta for ya. I should be surprised, but it's SOP over there.

I have a source who has suggested the modules came from Breitling. I cannot say with certainty that is a fact but the source is well placed and in a position to know. Dubois continues to deny a direct relationship at this point.

Funny that Lumpy and Jaws continue to insist that Invicta has a relationship with DD, yet when you talk to DD they have never done business with Invicta and didn't even know who they were until Invicta screwed them over on the last debacle. But I guess we are just Haterz because we don't believe a word that comes out of Lumpy or Jaws's mouth.

A bit hypocritical perhaps? I don't recall any Mods at WG's warning NyCruza about his fairy tales of his Watch Makers appraisals on his Invicta's?
