Makes me wonder if this is were all Invicta's are made? So far this is the only ''Invicta'' I managed to find on that site. I'd want someone to buy it and let Conjurer do a review better them then me. I'd rather buy a Casio with that money.

I just had a montage flash of the over the top gushing adoration for this line. At this price the profit margins are down to 56%.

I don't know the ins and outs of all this - but that appears to be an actual unbranded Venom.

If this is the case? The markup on the ShopFuhQ stuff is off the friggin' charts.

There was a brand called Mark Naimer that was eerily similar to the invicter line.

Take a look at the chrono seconds hand, it shows artifacts of a bad Photoshop attempt to remove the logo (the hand is jagged as a result of copying nearby cells to mask out the logo). I'm an amateur and could have done it cleaner. I guess removing the logo from the chrono second hand and crown as too hard.

At least it has genuine golden steel. And measured in centimeters...who would have thunk?

You guys absolutely rock. Nothing like putting your money where your mouths are. I was tempted to grab the el cheapo Venom, too, and would have if not for the fact that just this week I tossed the Mark Namier I bought last year. It was a funny thread, but the product was such a POS and I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it. Maybe I should have auctioned the crap off as a gag gift.

I am seeing an auction for charity coming out of this?

Some could have the "honor" of claiming to own a FAKE Invicter!

Great idea, but let's not gift those watches to the charity, of course. The idea of charity is to help people.

And, of course, the big mystery here will be to find out if those watches are knock-offs like Namier, or simply the same watches IWG sells without the brand name on it. I am like praying it's the latter; that type of thing could cause the whole IWG house are cards to crash faster than Mongo when he hears "last call!"

Fully agreed! Wouldn't it be fantastic if it were revealed to the world that these are the exact same wartches that Invicta sells! Oh, the agony it would bring!

Better buy stock! Cheap boxed wine and Cheetos are gonna' be consumed in even greater excess by the WG masses if it turns out the way we want!

You really need to handle one of these timepieces to truly appreciate the degree of artistry inside every facet of its being.

It's analogous to the moment Hafele and Keating, forced to prematurely climax - if you will - 78 hours of speed and amyl nitrate fueled debauchery of the most heinous kinds aboard their chartered air liner to compare the atomic clock aboard their jet with that which remained at their origin, realised they had proved, experimentally, the relationship between space and time.

Only by experiencing such a timepiece for yourself can you even begin to comprehend how truly tenuous is the relationship between reality and the on-screen rendering.

Closeup pics of the actual thing will be interesting.

Here's one with an actual "RESERVE" on the dial.

Many of the variants only have a generic base metal caseback:
