Sweet Jeebus! The finish on the case of the $17 Invicter wanna be looks like you could use it to shred paper!

Invicta may well be the better finished product from the same factory?

My beautiful waking image of Dolly Parton just morphed to her with projectile diarrhea. Thanks for that.
The D2 has more protuberances , love me some protuberances. Close inspection of the referenced links suggests similarities and differences. I would guess some of the metals used in the watches are dissimilar. For what its worth the Invicta is probably better. " WATCH MEETS YOU. BATTERY IN JAPAN. ONE YEARS QUALITY " ....nice.

Cheers

From the D2 site. Obvious English is not their first language.

The 16.05 watch is a better value based on what you get for your money.

No question.

Makes me harken back to the Mark Naimer vs SAN III thread a couple of years back. Yes, Virginia, you can guy a watch that looks like a TV watch for just nine smackers.

It's most likely the original manufacturer copying the case.

I have always had the strangest feeling that son of a bitch gets those KO's for nothing as a bonus from the plants who manufacture his Invicta garbage and then puts those out there himself to add to the prestige of the IWG heritage; afterall, in fashion, you're no-one till someone knocks you off.

Cool, we will see how it stacks up to Conjurers Kansas City pocket watch. Competition keeps us on high alert for the next bargain. If this keeps up, I see this forum advancing in the wrong direction and 9 toes being brought in as a subject matter expert.

I noticed on the tin it says One Years Quality Guarantee. Does that mean it only works for a year? Than stops?

Many products carry a one year warranty. Many only 90 days.

Gotcha. I honestly thought the watch stopped working after a year.
