14 kt. solid yellow gold case with solid yellow gold back that is marked "Longines-Wittnauer Watch Co. Inc. New York Geneva Montreal" on the inside and has a Longines marked winding crown. Silver dial with gold markers and gold hands. 17 jewel cal. 22L manual wind movement . New burgundy lizard band. Cir. 1950's/60's.

Not my style but I would only get it because of the solid gold case.

I agree, but just a cautionary heads-up. My Dad's Hamilton from the same era has similar lugs and they can bend somwhat easily. That's what happened to his....still in good shape but I never had it repaired for fear of further damage.

Very true, especially when made of soft 14K gold. Often times you see this style lug has been repaired. Doesn't look like it in your case, but be careful. Correct vintage straps can be somewhat easily had on eBay if you want to complete the set. I suggest opting for a "Long" size if available. Wrists seem a bit smaller in the olden days and these vintage watches tend to be around the 36mm mark. Congrats on a looker!

I had them switch out the strap for a size "L".
