The Swiss "ionic layering" appears to be on the molecular level... strong on this one. Must be two or even three microns.

I did bring it here, yes :)

@Mortuus yes it is electronic I suppose, with its tin 5-jewel quartz. But not the electronic that the 50s de Gaulle was. Nice watch and a lovely dial, but my automatic Glycine, with its standard anti-snob ETA auto that all WISS think is shit, is just as good for accuracy at 1-2 sec/day fast.
