My latest MassDrop buy-in, the Spinnaker (or 'Rekannips,' for those of you with dyslexia) "Cahill" automatic diver, with 21-jewel movement by the good folks at Miyota. First impression: a lot of watch for relatively little scratch. 8-)

That's a nice one Morty.

Is the dial a type of "crinkle paint," like we had on those 16mm projector's in Mr. Hall's Science class and Mr. Fairchild's History period?

Wow, Foggy, it's like you read my mind, or something...it must be the shared experiences of Del's and the Newport Creamery, and maybe even the Brick Alley Pub, on a good channeling day. Oh, well, time to go and practice my Ouija-boarding...

Not much, IMO.

This watch commemorates the national monument status of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba. The history of the hotel is fascinating.

I won this on ebay. I won it for only $38 but I was determined to win it and I would have bid a lot more if necessary. The seller's pics showed it on an ugly plastic strap that didn't match at all.
