I'm wearing this LE Damasko which is an amazing watch with a strap that feels too delicate for the beast of a case. It's suede which I have always been paranoid about in rain and grease. I'm going to have to dig out something tough. I have also always wanted to try a Toshi strap. They are very robust with great reviews. Or maybe a good Horween.

Real quick and dirty, but this is probably my most usual grab and go...

^^Mido is so under the radar. When Ifirst started collecting I had a real love of Universal Geneve and regret not pulling the trigger on a tri-compax before the hipsters caught on.

Hope they don't get to Mido before I manage to get my hands on one of Mido's bumper automatics.

As to the UG Tri-Compax, the prices are ridiculous now - but except the crazy money they sell for, they tend to have yet another flaw...The availability of parts is low. Very. Low. The parts are costly, but it's not a problem that money can solve - the current popularity of the UG watches has led to depleting most of the spare parts stockpiles...which also affects all the other chronographs with movements by Martel, as far as interchangeability of parts goes.
