Bell & Ross BR V2-94 Vintage Chronograph

Postby Racer-X » June 8th 2017, 7:46pm

by Cameron Wong "When I hear the words Bell & Ross, I immediately picture square watches inspired by flight instruments – watches like the iconic BR01 or its smaller cousin, the BR03. And I’m sure I’m not alone. There is, however, another side to the Bell & Ross family. With classic looks and traditional round cases, the Vintage collection draws its inspiration from the history of aviation. Designed to meet military specifications set by the armed forces, this collection has legibility, functionality and precision high on the list of “must haves”. Given these requirements, it’s not completely unexpected that this, the latest vintage-inspired chronograph, bears a resemblance to other brands’ versions of flight spec’d chronographs."

I don't normally care for B&R, but this one makes my dick tingle a bit.

Might as well be a Speedmaster.

Another semi-hommidge from B&R, obviously taking more than a few features from the Daytona. Not a total hommidge, though, as little does the dial and the layout resemble the Daytona.

It is a nice watch, only quite nastily overpriced. There's really better stuff to be found for less than $6750. For example, the new Tudor Black Bay chrono, which has a modified Breitling 01 inside, and as a Tudor, it has every right to resemble the Daytona in more than a few details.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
