The Admiral has come home. Awkshun WINNER!!!

And he is looking damned good!!! Especially for a watch that has travelled over 36,00 miles to 11 destinations all over the globe in the space of just over 6 months.

Now is the final test. The iconic Admiral is up for auction with the proceeds going to Watchlords. He has picked up some new shoes in his travels and will be auctioned with all 3 pair. The Admiral (and his shoes) will be shipped in a spiffy display case complete with polishing cloth.

There is no reserve , but keep in mind that you are not bidding on any old Timex weekender. This dude got stories-all available in the various threads posted by his generous hosts. (if any tech types can find a way to get all the Admiral posts in one thread that would be awesome)

Thanks to all who participated along the way and to "artman" for his fantastic work on the Admirals map.

The auction will end in one week-Monday 2/8/16 at 4PM EST. Open to all-even foreign heathens. The winner can donate the winning bid via the donate button on the forum.
Shipping will be via USPS.

If bidding is slow I will provide constant reminders as to how important this watch is in forum lore!!! Maybe an extra enticement or two>

Have at it. The Admiral will be relaxing and drinking many beers until he ships out one final time-to his forever port.

Glad to see the Admiral has survived the seas from coast to coast. I had heard he outran Capt. Flint (Black Sails) near Tortuga and navigated the Columbia River Bar without a pilot. Well done Admiral.

If you want to hear some stories you need to pour the Admiral a glass.

The Loaf's schmutz cannot be removed. It just adds value! ;)

Maybe this thread needs "auction" in the title?

Oh, and ain't this some real schmutz?

65 dolares. But I would rather not be the winning bidder and donate something directly instead. I have the Admirals big brother already from the Christmas Orcshun.

Maybe the final "host for life' will be privy to the Admirals secret about his brief AWOL period when he disappeared between Germany and Virginia.
