Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!
After all, no ham-wristed louts complained when all watches were 34mm - no cries of "looks like a little girl's watch on my wrist!" Like King Canute on the beach, that's where I draw the line - come what may.

Interesting old ads. Ive a couple of vintage mechanical timexes. theyre in good shape but imo the movements are of very flimsy manufacture even when considering their original low msrp. Timex came into its own (quality wise) with their quartz line. Hard to beat them for the money. Relatively speaking, I find them superior to casio in fit, finish and durability.

I remember that Ad.

My Mom never wore anything but a Timex watch.

I'd never be caught dead in a Timex, then or now. Not a fan.

Does the Timex Time Machine have shades of Rado Diastar in it or have I been drinking too much already?
