As a small, independent watch company we are extremely proud to be the very first watch brand in the world to offer a completely scratchproof titanium watch. By asking for your help, we not only give you the opportunity to get the completely scratchproof ORLO Ticonite at a special, time-limited, discounted price, we also invite you to be part of creating watch history!

All righty then.

They sure like 9s, 9,000 then 1800 / 2 = 900.

Least its a 9015.

Interestingly, Seiko and Citizen kinda beat them to the whole "world's first scratchproof titanium" thing.

Also, the wartche makes me want to hammer a Cabriole table leg up my fucking ass.

Oh, there's no telling how much I have waited for that. Another Kickstarter project, up for a walloping! The game's afoot!

to offer a completely scratchproof titanium watch

Hmmm...what next? Do you perhaps intend to invent the wheel? Because just like the whole supposedly scratchproof titanium, the wheel has already been invented.

By asking for your help, we not only give you the opportunity to get the completely scratchproof ORLO Ticonite at a special, time-limited, discounted price, we also invite you to be part of creating watch history!

In other words, you give the clients the opportunity to buy a watch that's scratchproof until it comes in contact with the sidewalk or a brick wall (these things always win against all the "scratchproof" stuff, y'know...), and which will be cast to the junkyard of watch history alongside all the other "revolutionary" Prickstarter micros.

we really think you get an incredible amount of watch for your money! We expect this to be around 50% off the suggested retail price.

The ORLO Ticonite has a Miyota Caliber 9015, 24 jewel automatic movement

OK, then it's not as boring as the usual Kickstarter shite. Although that doesn't mean it isn't boring, because it fucking is boring.

It will literally survive almost anything.

With sapphire, hmmm...? Toss it against the wall, and we'll see.

The ORLO Ticonite has a unique design that draws its inspiration from the iconic watches of the ‘70s with its robust turtle case.

That'd be the fancy way of saying "we nicked it from Seiko."

with a turnable, 60 click USELESS bezel

Fixed it for ya, Orlo.

Besides its obvious beauty sapphire crystal is harder than most other materials and provides maximum hardness and durability.

Ummm... what exactly is the beauty of a sapphire crystal?

has a Miyota Caliber 9015, 24 jewel automatic movement. Made in Japan it is considered a workhorse and technical masterpiece among watch movements

A workhorse? Yes. A masterpiece... What the fuck have you been smoking? I want some of that!

Each individual ORLO collection epitomises Danish design with its minimalist aesthetics and detailed functionalism inspired by organic shapes.

Was there a Seiko Organic Diver?

Our long history in watchmaking allows us to work with the very best partners in the industry and source each individual part without compromising on quality. These partners usually only work with high-end brands, but because of the innovative and breakthrough nature of the project, we have ensured their cooperation.

Just imagine this mile-long queue of reps of PP, VC, AP, JLC and Lange at the door of a Miyota distributor's office.

final assembly will happen in Glasshütte

It's Glashütte, for fuck's sake.

All in all, a not-so-bad case, a dial design cloned over and over, a fucking useless bezel, some metal mojo, we're pros, give us money, boring, boring, fuck off and good night.
An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile - hoping it will eat him last.
Winston Churchill

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

You know, Mr. Bloke, you don't actually have to use the F-bomb all the time. Otherwise, a fine fucking post!

Seen worse, not remotely interested. Got the feeling they're not reaching their KS goal, the poor things.

I don't get this fervor for "new" and "improved" indie dive watches; in a world with Seiko and Orient and a few of the Swiss offerings, much of which can be obtained under a grand ... again, who in the blue blazes asked for this stuff? I don't wanna piss in anyone's corn flakes - breakfast is the most important meal of the day - but the big cons are the micros who come riding in on their Mopeds singing "Here We Come To Save The Day!" like Mighty Mouse, only smaller ... and begging all the while.
