Mercer Watch Co. Airfoil Video Review

Postby Racer-X » September 24th 2017, 2:16pm

by Ilya Ryvin "Mercer Watch Co., like many micro-brands, began life on Kickstarter with its introductory timepiece, the Brigadier. Since then, Mercer has grown its catalog, and last year the New Jersey-based brand released the Airfoil, a contemporary take on a pilot’s watch with an aesthetic that isn’t all too unfamiliar (there are some strong Bremont Solo vibes coming off of this one). At $799, this Sellita SW200-powered timepiece sits in a sweet spot for a lot of watch buyers, but it’s also in a very competitive space."

Seems reasonably well designed and at a reasonable price.

Not sure that I would choose it over any number of classic brands though.

Or, for a lot less, you can get a Hamilton, a brand that didn't start out on kickstarter, and it also doesn't look like a piece of motherfucking shit.
