There are numerous local roads that if I could afford the police presence to block off all side street access and let me push myself and my car to their limits, I would be quite content to drive batshit crazy on.

Have had the pleasure of driving on some wonderful roads on the Maine coastline and in Colorado across the Rockies; but, while scenery can be breathtaking, the fear of getting a ticket or going to jail for driving them like I want to is always a buzzkill. Not to mention the fear of death if I misjudge a curve. That's why I have usually reserved risky driving to roads I know well.

All that being said, some of the "roads" in the video look more like wide walking paths. Rides on mountain roads mentioned above were enough to make my butt pucker. Is one thing to go sliding off a road at speed and into a field, another entirely to slip off one with a 1500' drop off. No thanks.
