Glad to say never had any of them in my garage, but, I do have a soft spot for the Stag
They did look good on the roads around me when I was slightly younger.

Carol and I almost purchased one back in 77 or so. Blue with saddle interior. Ended up with a 280z instead. Always had a twinge of regret leaving the stag behind.

Mind you, in all reality you did get the better car.
As much as it hurts to say that.

I do notice that regardless of who is compiling the list of mistakes one alleged car makes it every time. Every damn time.

The list is mostly crap. Still - thanks for posting.

Best friend's mother was so proud of hers. Even as a kid I could see that it looked like a Cavalier, rode like a pulp wood truck and was just a raging POS. But, with the Cadillac badges, she thought she had arrived.

Interestingly, I was going to post a google image pic of a pimped-out Cimarron. But there aren't any.

My dad had a Cimarron. It was embarrassing. And a POS!

Time pulled no punches with their list of the 50 worst of all time.

The horror. The horror. Everything that was wrong, venal, lazy and mendacious about GM in the 1980s was crystallized in this flagrant insult to the good name and fine customers of Cadillac. Spooked by the success of premium small cars from Mercedes-Benz, GM elected to rebadge its awful mass-market J-platform sedans, load them up with chintzy fabrics and accessories and call them "Cimarron, by Cadillac." Wha...? Who? Seeking an even hotter circle of hell, GM priced these pseudo-caddies (with four-speed manual transmissions, no less) thousands more than their Chevy Cavalier siblings. This bit of temporizing nearly killed Cadillac and remains its biggest shame.

It is a rebadged Toyota iQ - see what an English car magazine had to say,

"In addition to the standard 1.0-litre car, there’s also the iQ3, which comes with a 1.3-litre engine. This is the model that forms the bases of the Aston Martin Cygnet – available at nearly three times the price."
