As far as affordable watches go, this one should be on the list along with Timex and Seiko for good bank for the buck.

You betcha. Keep that all newfangled "minimalist" tripe - gimme a Mondaine. Fun fact: The gift shop at the Museum of Modern Art here in NYC has sold Mondaine watches for at least 15 years.
