Yep, gold tone, real diamonds and a steal with MSRP of $5500, yours "as-is" which includes it may well not be running per their statement...$1900!

And some fool(s) actually bought this POS.

Lovely Swiss Made watch, a classic no doubt!, the kind of timepiece that will cement anyones reputation as a pimp (even if they're not)....
I'll get it but, waiting on the model that also have lugs and case studded diamonds, for that much needed bling factor...

The cock-o-meter reading of the buyer of that Blingometer Kitschomatic (or whatever that thing is called) is off the charts.

Oh, and "Swiss Movt" is illegal now. Post that pic on that new thread, love, and you'll help get IWG into even more trouble!

I'm curious as to the "illegality" of using the designation.
What are the penalties for using it and who enforces this law?
How far do Swiss Federation laws reach? If they actually exist.
I never really got any of this.

Click that link on koi's thread above. Hey, all I know is all of a sudden, SWI, IWG, and the rest of the El Crummy Florida "brands" are suddenly toeing lines, rebranding dials, and changing claims. On koi's first post, it states what's allowed and what isn't - and koi says there are two FH people who are members here. In theory, they'll see what we post and take action accordingly. I mean, for a shit-stirrer like me, that's just boss.

From the FH rep in koi's opener in the thread:

The indication "Swiss movement" is allowed under Swiss legislation and may
be applied to watches that contain a Swiss movement. The word "movement"
must appear written out in full in the same typeface, dimension and color
as the denomination "Swiss". Other terms, as for example "Swiss Movt",
"Swiss Quartz", "Swiss Design", "Swiss Brand", "Swiss Parts", "Swiss Parts
Movement", "Swiss Tech"... are not allowed.
By the way, the Federation has
acted and is conducting ongoing actions against several U.S. based
companies which are misusing its certification marks, notably in
collaboration with U.S. Customs.

Please let us know if any American watch brands abusively use such Swiss
geographical indications on their products.

With depressed sales of Swiss watches and new tighter regulations for the "Swiss made" designation, the Federation has decided to play hardball (i.e. litigation) with those who make false claims of Swiss origin. Apparently the U.S. Customs service is playing along.

Does Customs still smash counterfeit watches?
I would love to see Customs smashing a load of Invicta's, I would absolutely love it.

I wouldn't worry about the thing running, with Invicta's stellar warranty service and all.

One can only hope! Would love to see a video of it happening. Have to figure thought that for what LayLow pays for them, even if customs destroys a hundred Inshitas, he will only be out a few thousand bucks at most.

Cripes, I'd give them a stipend if they'd hand me a rubber mallet and let me help out.
