After several months of delays, an overhaul of its original vision, and some wrangling of hardware partners, Google's new smartwatch software, Android Wear 2.0, launches this week.

I'll never buy such a thing. Still it is an open question - will such products occupy the wrist of a younger generation and thus never leave room for a real wristwatch.
Current drop in sales seems to hit luxury watches mostly. Or only?
