Second Auction For the Mad Hungarian!

Second Auction For the Mad Hungarian!

OK, so the first one went so well, let's have another.

First up, a very nice Mickey Mouse watch:

Now, everyone here knows of my enduring love for all things Disney; what is more iconic than a Mickey watch? Fucking nothing, that's what. This one was purchased at an actual Disney theme park (which, one of these days, I certainly like to visit--the actual receipt is in the box), and comes with Mickey box and even the bag the lucky owner carried it out in:

Image

Condition appears BNIB, unworn. Size: 40mm and 12.75mm thick. No reference number apparent, no manufacturer, Chinese automatic movement. Warranty papers show it to be authentic Disney product. Most importantly, it's not the Invicta shit being flogged now on Urine-Live. Bid using term "Mickey."

Two Timex Expeditions:

Selling as a single lot, two very nice Timex watches, with the same DNA as our beloved Admiral Spunk--but none from me, I'm afraid. The digital has a chrono, a vibration alarm (good for Gerdson, him being German and all) as well as Indiglo. Ref. T49851. 45mm across, 15mm thick. 100m WR. Nice rubber/plastic strap, all in excellent condition. The analogue number is also fine condition, with IP black top case, 40mm across, 10.5mm thick, Indiglo, very good distressed leather strap. 50m WR. Neither watch comes with boxes/papers. Just honest watches! Bid using "Timex".

Watch boxes:

This from an anonymous member who is in the watch trade, a lot of six of these very fine leather boxes, each one perfect for traveling or storing of one watch, or possibly 1/2 an Invicter. These are really very nice, and a great way to gift, say, a Timex Expedition that doesn't have a box. Bid using "Watch Boxes."

Now, while every donation is a fine contibution to a worthy cause, once in awhile a member here really steps up, and offers something quite out of the ordinary, and this anonymous donor has stepped up, big time indeed:

Christopher Ward C60 LE Le Mans COSC Quartz Chronograph Chronometer:

A superlative watch indeed; a limited edition (40/300), ETA thermocompensated quartz chonometer movement, sapphire, etc:

All boxes and papers included, naturally including the COSC cert, superbly packaged:

Image

A letter from the Christopher Ward guy, who I think is named Christopher Ward, also included:

Image

The watch is 42mm across, 11.3mm thick. Model "LeMans 1959 Aston Martin DBR1". Watch case in very fine condition, brown leather fitted strap shows minor wear.

Bid using "Christopher Ward."

This auction will run until Friday, 16 September, ending at 8:00PM Pacific time.

Good luck, and happy bidding!

Thanks, Allison! I was just PM'd about this, and to make it clear, they're being sold as a single lot of six boxes.

A word on the Timexes. I have one of these (three-hand version), with a black dial, and I am wearing it right now. Personally I do believe anyone not owning one of these remarkable timepieces, brethren of the dear Admiral, is a rotten dick and should have his a-hole widened with a screw cone log splitter 'till it hurtz, verdammt. So go and bid and remember it is for a good cause, You bunch of forpulede røvhuller.
