Auction-san

Postby foghorn » May 16th 2016, 4:45pm

Up for auction this fine evening is a pre-vintage Seiko SKX173 which I purchased about 15 years ago based on an article I read in Watchtime magazine extolling the virtues of the "bulletproof" 7s26A automatic movement. The serial # dates the Singapore made movement (and I assume watch) to December of 2000. This is one of the first examples produced in the 21st century, so it has that going for it.
Sadly. I don't have the original piece of shit iconic Seiko rubber strap so it will ship on the pictured , seldom worn, and free of funk Zulu strap. I also have the original black with gold trim box with cool "butterfly" lids.
The aforementioned "bulletproof" 7s26 movement keeps time according to specs.

There will be no reserve and the auction will come to a grinding halt at 7 PM EST this Saturday May the 21st come hell or high water.

Remember this watch is a "pre-vintage" model with the Singapore manufacture so tarry not for I expect the bidding to be robust.

I will accept United States Postal Money Orders and perhaps a personal check if our paths have crossed over the years in the various fora. Under no circumstances will I: a) accept the evil and heinous Paypal or 2) ship to a country beyond the borders of the good old US of A.

Here is a picture of the watch in question.
