King of France's watch up for auction

WATCH OF S.M. CHARLES X LAST KING OF FRANCE & FROM NAVARRE
Born in Versailles in 1757, Charles-Philippe de France was made Count of Artois at his birth by his grandfather King Louis XV (1705-1774). His elder brothers will then be the future kings Louis XVI (1754-1793) and Louis XVIII (1755-1824).

The fall of Monarchy and the French Revolution carried him into exile while first in Germany and then in England where he initiated a first counter-revolutionary movement. At the fall of Napoleon in 1815, the French royal family returned to the throne. Louis XVIII and Charles X succeeded each other before the latter abdicate in favor of his grandson the Duke of Bordeaux, without success.

Charles X will spend the end of his life in exile at the castle of Lulworth in England, at Holyrood Palace in Scotland, at the Prague, before going extinct in Görz then in Austria. His grandson Henri d'Artois Duke of Bordeaux and Count of Chambord also called Henry V, also spent his life in exile: in Scotland, in Venice before dying at Frohsdorf Castle, in Austria. He was the last representative of the royal family

Enamelled white dial indicating hours in Roman numerals, golden pear needles.
Caseback engraved with the figure of S. M. Charles X under crown Royal of France.
London, circa 1800
Diameter: 54mm - Height: 22mm.
The watch is delivered in a box with the arms of France and accompanied by a letter from the Prince, the current owner, who ritier and descendant of King Charles X.
