I think they are visually claustrophobic. Not enough dial space for squeezing all the sub dials in. As to their finish, it doesn't get any better.

I think the dial is tight also, too. Everything does look squeezed in, including the tiny logo and text. I like the smaller pushers, and the sapphire bezel is a nice touch. For a little more money, I'd have preferred they left the GMT on there, although the watch is thinner without it which probably appeals to a large segment of buyers as likely does the lesser diameter. Personally, I like the GMT mo betta.

I'd have to see one in person.
Next time I'm at Macys I'll take a look. They carry Seikos. :???:

It's right up my alley..I'll agree the dial borders on busy, but not anymore so then, say, a Daytona...it works for me, especially the black dial version..

Too much stuff on the dial.

Yeah I think this is part of why Seiko consolidated text at top in new models, they look way better with sub dials in this format

Given the arrangement of the subdials, I wonder if the designer had one sake too much.

That said, it would be a nice watch if only the dial layout wasn't quite as fucked up as it is.
