Need help identifying this Breitling

Need help identifying this Breitling

Postby Racer-X » November 16th 2017, 4:33pm

Co-worker sent me these pics. Watch was left at a business (resort?), and is past the recovery time. They don't want to pay for an appraisal if it's a fake. Is it fake? Value?

Tell them to take it to a jeweler for appraisal. Also see if you can tag along to witness the hilarity that will surely ensue.

It's a very rare Navifaker, worth a hundred thousand Zimbabwean dollars. An utter, fucking fake - a calendar posing as a chronograph, and hell take me if I know if that "calendar" even works. The quality of the printing on the dial is beyond dreadful.

Thanks guys, passed on the news. They weren't surprised, given the circumstances.

I miss the old days when Breitling had those calendar subdials instead of useless chrono dials.

As many as that? :D

Much like the movie Stripes the watch was not accidentally left behind - it was disposed of.
