Psychology Of Wanting To Show Off Your Luxury Watch

Psychology Of Wanting To Show Off Your Luxury Watch

Postby Racer-X » September 17th 2017, 4:40am

by Ariel Adams "I'd like to explore some of the common psychology at play in the minds of people who enjoy wearing high-end wrist watches. This topic is interesting to me because I believe that much of the time if you ask someone why they like to wear high-end watches, they will give you a range of answers – most of which never actually get to the point. Other times people offer contradictory reasons for why they are compelled to wear a small, expensive machine on their wrist whose actual utility in life is marginal at best. So why is it that people like to wear and show off their luxury watches?"

I wonder what Freud would have to say about REL?

That, and it makes you look like a goof if you strap a crystal panther statue to your wrist.

"Think piece" = "We're running out of ideas."

The next thing you know, ABTW will run articles about Invicta tie-in watches ...

I wear my invikkers every day. So I'm showing off. I don't care what people think. I bought them for investment and I can't wear the twelve bengies I paid for Homer on my wrist now can I.

As opposed to the few of us that wear Ebels that says something like, hey, my relatives also invested in the Titanic..
